Florida Horse Adoption

Here is how it works:
Sometimes people cannot take care of their horses anymore for a number of reasons, sometimes the horse got hurt, it outgrew the family, it had to make room for another horse...
Whatever the reason was, we take those horses in
and try to do everything we can to make
them suitable to find a great new home.
If neccessary we rehab them, train them, put some weight on them and get them as sound and healthy as possible until they are ready to leave us and live with a new family.
Horses that can not be placed stay with us.

If you adopt a horse from us:
Even though you adopt the horse, you actually purchase it for the amount of money we have in the horse to help us cover our expenses and enable us to keep doing what we are doing.
That also means that you own the horse
and you are responsible for it. 
However you are not allowed to sell the horse within the first year of your ownership but you can return 
the horse to us for a 100% refund .
We also do require you to keep us informed on the
well-being of the horse and we will check on it
to ensure it is being properly cared for.
